POCATELLO/CHUBBUCK SCHOOL DISTRICT SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEE
Pocatello – The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District #25, Bannock County, announces a vacancy on the School Board in Zone 1, and is seeking candidates who are interested in filling the position.
Interested candidates who meet the legal qualifications as set out in Idaho Code (33-405 and 33-405a) should submit a letter of interest, which will serve as their application and a resume’. The application and resume’ must be submitted, by 4:00 p.m. on August 7, 2009, to the Clerk of the Board at the Education Service Center, 3115 Pole Line Road, Pocatello, Idaho, 83201. Candidates must include their name, address, and phone number in the letter of interest and explain the reason(s) why they would like to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Board reserves the right to extend the application deadline.
The Board will conduct candidate interviews August 17, 2009 beginning at 4:30 p.m. It intends to seat a candidate at the August 18, 2009 Regular Board Meeting which begins at 5:30 p.m. For more information about candidacy, contact the Clerk of the Board or the Superintendent at 235-3205.
