<p>The purpose of this hearing is to consider new constructions permit fees that are consistent with the International Building Code. The establishment of these fees will help defray the cost of required inspections to new building sites by a building inspector.</p>

<p>An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck a municipal corporation of the state of Idaho, repealing Chapter 13.20 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code and adopting a new Chapter 13.20 &#8220;Pretreatment Regulations&#8221; which parallel the City of Pocatello&#8217;s Ordinance No. 2837 adopting recommendations made by the Water Pollution Control Department Superintendent for the City of Pocatello, and which pretreatment regulations Chubbuck is required to adopt by its agreement with Pocatello to utilize the Pocatello Wastewater Treatment Plant; providing for the repeal of conflicting ordinances; providing that all other provisions of Chapter 13.20 not amended shall remain in effect; providing for the severability of the provisions of this ordinance; providing that this ordinance shall be in effect after its passage, approval and publication. </p>
<p>The full text of this ordinance is available at the City Clerk&#8217;s Office, Chubbuck City Offices, 5160 Yellowstone, Chubbuck, ID 83202. </p>

<p>Pocatello Regional Transit Announces the following changes in its Fixed Route Weekday and Saturday Schedules Effective November 8, 2008: </p>
<p><i>Due to low boardings and budgetary constraints the following Weekday Fixed-Route Changes are proposed per the effective date above:</i></p>
<p>Route &#8220;B&#8221; will make its last stop evenings at 6:23pm at Student Health&#8211;Monday thru Friday. </p>
<p><i>Due to low boardings and budgetary constraints the following Saturday routes or hours are proposed to be dropped or changed per the effective date above:</i></p>
<p>Route &#8220;A&#8221; Tripper will no longer be provided on Saturdays </p>
<p>Route &#8220;J4/E&#8221; will no longer be provided on Saturdays </p>
<p>Route &#8220;S&#8221; first stop begins at 10:23am at Student Health instead of the current 10:09am </p>
<p>Route &#8220;A&#8221; first stop begins at 10:30am at Student Union instead of the current 9:30am </p>
<p>Printed Schedules and Website Schedules will be adjusted accordingly. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Fee Changes:</span></p>
<p><i>Due to budgetary constraints the following Night and Saturday Premium Services Fees are proposed to be changed effective November 8, 2008 as well as the addition of a fee in a previous no-fare zone effective on the same date:</i></p>
<p>Weekday Premium Night Service Door-to-Door from 6:45pm through 1Opm&#8211; Oneway Premium fare increases from $2.50 to $4.00; Extra Needs Prepaid Cards increase from $50.00 to $80.00 per 20 rides. </p>
<p>Saturday Premium Door-to-Door Service 9:00am through 10am and 5:30pm through 6:30pm&#8211; One-way fare increases from $1.50 to $4.00. </p>
<p>J/4 Route when boarded off campus or when boarded on campus to leave the ISU campus will be raised from Free Fare to .25 cents per boarding. </p>
<p>Downtown Free Fare Zone is eliminated and the standard fixed-route fare is applied. </p>

<p>AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAVA HOT SPRINGS, IDAHO, REPEALING SECTION 10-2-5A, AND SUBSTITUTING A NEW SECTION THEREFOR ESTABLISHING SEWER CONNECTION FEES; AMENDING SECTION 10-2-5C TO DELETE REFERENCE TO ADDITIONAL FEES CONTAINED THEREIN; AND ADDING A NEW SECTION TO CHAPTER 2, TITLE 10, OF THE CITY CODE OF LAVA HOT SPRINGS, IDAHO, TO PERMIT THE CITY COUNCIL TO ESTABLISH AN EQUIVALENT USER SCHEDULE, AND TO SET SEWER CONNECTION FEES AS WELL AS OTHER FEES FOR USAGE OF THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE; WAIVING THE RULE THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE READ ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; </p>
<p>BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAVA HOT SPRINGS, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 1:</strong></span> Section 10-2-5 A is hereby repealed and the following section is substituted therefor: </p>
<p>Section 10-2-5. Sewer Connection Fees </p>
<p>A. Fee Established: The sewer connection fee for a user inside the City shall be as follows: </p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 2:</strong></span> Section 10-2-5 C, City Code of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, is hereby amended as follows: </p>
<p>C: Cost of Connection; Additional Fees: The foregoing fees are for the privilege of connecting with the city sewer, and all work necessary for making proper connection shall be done to the satisfaction of and under the supervision of the city inspector and shall be paid for by the person desiring such connection; and further such person shall pay a permit fee of five dollars ($5.00) and inspection fee of five dollars ($5.00). </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 3:</strong></span> The connection fees referred to in Section 1 above shall be effective as of October 1, 2008. The City Council is hereby authorized to set an equivalent user schedule for users of the sanitary sewer system of the City, and to establish connection fees as well as other fees for users of said sanitary sewer system by resolution of the City Council. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 4:</strong></span> All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 5:</strong></span> The rule requiring that this Ordinance be read on three separate occasions is hereby waived. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Section 6:</strong></span> This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to law. </p>
<p>PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and City Council of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, this 24rd day of September, 2008. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING </p>
<p>Notice is hereby given of a public hearing which will be held on October 15, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grace City Hall, 108 East Center, Grace, Idaho. The hearing will serve as a forum for collecting comments from the general public on the completed City of Grace Comprehensive Plan. The Plan is meant to serve as a guide for the management of growth in the City of Grace and shall work to enhance property values and protect private property rights. </p>
<p>The Plan, mandated for municipalities by the Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act, addresses thirteen elements specifically: Private Property Rights, Population, School Facilities and Transportation, Economic Development, Land Use, Natural Resources, Public Services, Facilities, and Utilities, Recreation, Hazardous Areas, Transportation, Housing, Community Design and Special Sites, Plan Implementation. Copies of the Comprehensive Plan are available at Grace City Hall, 108 East Center, Grace, Idaho between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. </p>
<p>All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing to express their views regarding this proposal. Oral testimony may be offered at the hearing. Written testimony of less than two single-spaced, typewritten pages may be submitted up to the time of or at the hearing; other written testimony must be submitted to the City of Grace Mayor and City Council no later than five days prior to the Hearing. </p>
<p>City Hall and the meeting room are accessible to persons with disabilities. Interpreters for persons with hearing impairments and/or taped information for persons with visual impairments can be provided upon three days notice. </p>
