NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of McCammon, Bannock County, Idaho (the “City”), has petitioned, pursuant to Idaho Code § 7-1301, et. seq. for judicial confirmation of the validity of a certain proposed loan obligation and related matters to be incurred by the City.

The Petition seeks confirmation of the validity of the power and authority of the City of McCammon, Idaho, to: (a) incur an indebtedness in a principal amount not to exceed $1,600,000 for the financing of the cost of certain improvements to the City’s existing wastewater/sewer collection and treatment system and the City’s existing water supply system as an “ordinary and necessary expense” within the meaning of Article, 8, Section 3, Idaho Constitution; (b) enter into certain loan agreements with the State of Idaho, Department of Environmental Quality and to issue its promissory notes or other evidence of such indebtedness; and (c) pledge to repay the obligations of the City from the wastewater/sewer system revenues and water system revenues, respectively, and other lawfully available funds of the City.

The Petition further seeks a declaration that such evidence of indebtedness, when issued pursuant to such authority, will be a valid and binding obligation of the City of McCammon, payable in accordance with its terms.

Interested parties who wish to review the Petition, or any of the documents referred to or incorporated in the Petition, may do so during normal business hours at the office of the City Clerk, McCammon City Hall, 802 Front Street, McCammon, Idaho 83250.

Any interested party may appear by written appearance or answer to the Petition filed with the Clerk of the above-entitled Court at any time prior to the date set for hearing on the Petition, which has been set for the 14th day of October, 2008, at 1:30 o’clock P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the courtroom of the above-entitled Court, at the Bannock County Courthouse, 624 E. Center, Pocatello, Idaho.

ORDINANCE NO. 449

AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF McCAMMON CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2008, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $759,081.00 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF MCCAMMON FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFiCIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF McCAMMON CITY, IDAHO, COUNTY OF BANNOCK.

Section 1: There is hereby established upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of McCammon City, Bannock County, Idaho aggregate advalorem taxes in the amount of $197,600.00.

Section 2: The City of McCammon hereby fixes the amount of anticipated revenue from all other sources at 8561,481.00.

Section 3: The object and purpose for which such appropriations are made and the amount appropriated for each object of purpose is as follows:

Section 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and due publication in one issue of the Idaho State Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of McCammon, and the official newspaper of said city.

PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009
CITY OF MCCAMMON, IDAHO

A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002, will be held for consideration of the proposed Budget for the fiscal year from October 1,2008,10 September 30,2009, The hearing will be held on August 13, 2008, at the City Office - 802 Front Street, McCammon, Idaho at the hour of 7:30 p.m. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should not be adopted. Copies of proposed City Budget in detail are available at the City Hall during office hours Mon. Tues, Wed. Thurs. & Fri. from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget document or to the hearing please contact City Hall at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. The proposed FY 2009 budget is shown below as FY 2009 proposed expenditures and revenues.
