City of Grace Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing which will be held on October 15, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grace City Hall, 108 East Center, Grace, Idaho. The hearing will serve as a forum for collecting comments from the general public on the completed City of Grace Comprehensive Plan. The Plan is meant to serve as a guide for the management of growth in the City of Grace and shall work to enhance property values and protect private property rights.

The Plan, mandated for municipalities by the Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act, addresses thirteen elements specifically: Private Property Rights, Population, School Facilities and Transportation, Economic Development, Land Use, Natural Resources, Public Services, Facilities, and Utilities, Recreation, Hazardous Areas, Transportation, Housing, Community Design and Special Sites, Plan Implementation. Copies of the Comprehensive Plan are available at Grace City Hall, 108 East Center, Grace, Idaho between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing to express their views regarding this proposal. Oral testimony may be offered at the hearing. Written testimony of less than two single-spaced, typewritten pages may be submitted up to the time of or at the hearing; other written testimony must be submitted to the City of Grace Mayor and City Council no later than five days prior to the Hearing.

City Hall and the meeting room are accessible to persons with disabilities. Interpreters for persons with hearing impairments and/or taped information for persons with visual impairments can be provided upon three days notice.

ORDINANCE NO. 281

AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2008 APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $1,581,531.00 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GRACE FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Grace. Caribou County, Idaho.

Section 1. That the sum of $1,581,531.00 be, and the same is appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Grace, Caribou County, Idaho for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2008.

Section 2. The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows:

Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon publication in one Issue of the Caribou County Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Grace, and the official newspaper of said city.

PASSED under suspension of rules upon which a roll call vote was taken and duly enacted an Ordinance of the City of Grace, Caribou County, Idaho at a convened meeting of the City of Grace City Council held on the 3rd day of September, 2008.

City of Grace Proposed FY2009 Budget

CITY OF GRACE, IDAHO
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED FY 2009 BUDGET

A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002, will be held for consideration of the proposed budget for the fiscal year from October 1,2008 to September 30, 2009. The hearing will be held at the Grace City Hall, 108 E Center, Grace, Idaho at 7:00 P.M. on September 3, 2008. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted. Copies of the proposed city budget in detail are available at City Hall during regular office hours (8:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon and 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., weekdays.) City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or the hearing, please contact the Grace City Hall, 208-425-3533 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. The proposed FY2009 budget is shown below as FY2009 proposed expenditures and revenues.
