NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Ordinance No. 288, adopted on September 16 2009, of the City of Grace, of Caribou County, Idaho, a Special Bond Election will be held in the City on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2009 between the hours of 8:00 o’clock A.M. and 8:00 o’clock P.M., for the purpose of voting upon the question and proposition of issuing water revenue bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $5,500,000 for the purpose of providing funds to pay the cost and construction and installation of improvements and betterments to the City’s domestic water system, consisting generally of a 1,000,000 gallon water storage tank, replacement of transmission and service lines, installation of water meters, and protection of the water source and other related improvements and costs, pursuant to the provisions of said Ordinance.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general election to be held in and for the City of Grace, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The election will be held to elect the following offices for the specified terms: Mayor for a four (4) year term, Two (2) Councilmember seats for four (4) year terms.
On Election Day, the polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following designated polling place: Grace City Hall, 108 East Center Street, Grace, Idaho.

Absentee voting is now available for the upcoming City of Grace Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Absentee ballots are available at City Hall.
Requests for absentee ballots can be made in person, by mail or by fax. Requests by mail or fax must be received before 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 and in person requests must be received before 5 p.m. on Nov. 2.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general election to be held in and for the City of Grade, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices for the specified terms:
Mayor – Four Year Term
Two (2) City Council Seats – Four Year Terms
Candidates for city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy specifying the office sought and affirming that the individual is a qualified city elector, meaning:
The Declaration of Candidacy must be accompanied by: (1) a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or (2) a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors that has been verified by the county clerk’s office.
The deadline for filing declarations of candidacy is Friday, September 4 at 5:00 pm. Declarations of candidacy are available at City Hall in the office of the city clerk at 108 East Center Street from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (the office is closed from noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch).

Candidate filing for the City of Grace will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 24 for the general election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The following positions will be up for election:

Two council seats, both for four year terms
Declaration of candidacy must be filed between August 24 and Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. along with a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors.
