SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 659

An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck a municipal corporation of the state of Idaho, repealing Chapter 13.20 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code and adopting a new Chapter 13.20 “Pretreatment Regulations” which parallel the City of Pocatello’s Ordinance No. 2837 adopting recommendations made by the Water Pollution Control Department Superintendent for the City of Pocatello, and which pretreatment regulations Chubbuck is required to adopt by its agreement with Pocatello to utilize the Pocatello Wastewater Treatment Plant; providing for the repeal of conflicting ordinances; providing that all other provisions of Chapter 13.20 not amended shall remain in effect; providing for the severability of the provisions of this ordinance; providing that this ordinance shall be in effect after its passage, approval and publication.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Chubbuck and the Laws of the State of Idaho, that the City Council of the City of Chubbuck will hold a public hearing of the Chubbuck City Hall, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho at the hour of 7:30 p.m. October 14, 2008,

The City of Chubbuck, along with the City of Pocatello and Bannock County, have determined there is an immediate and pressing need, due to concerns about contaminations of the ground water aquifer that serves the source for the potable water for Chubbuck, Pocatello and Bannock County, to provide a means to collect sewage generated within the Chubbuck Area of the City Impact and deliver it for treatment to the sewer treatment facility owned and operated by the City of Pocatello.

  Current Fee New Fee
Sewer Connection Fee shall be charged for each building permit issued for construction out side of the Chubbuck City Limits, but within the area of Chubbuck City Impact -0- $ 5,229.00

A more detailed description of the above proposed sewer connection fee is on file in the City Clerk’s office at Chubbuck City Hall, 5160 Yellowstone Ave., and is available for inspection during regular business hours. Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony.

City Hall and the council chambers are accessible for persons with disabilities. Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact City Clerk Ron C. Conlin at 208-237-2400 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.

ORDINANCE #657

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO APPROPRIATING THE SEVERAL SUMS OF MONEY DEEMED NECESSARY AND SUFFICIENT TO DEFRAY ALL EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON THE 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER 2008, AND ENDING ON THE 30TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2009, AND DESIGNATING THE DIFFERENT FUNDS TO WHIGH SHALL BE DRAWN AND PAID, AND KNOWN AS THE “ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF FISCAL YEAR 2008-2009” PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 50-1003, IDAHO CODE, PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO TAKE EFFECT AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT OROAINEO BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL CF THE CITY Of CHUBBUCK, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That the following funds are designated as the proper funds into which all revenues accruing to the City of Chubbuck from all sources shall be paid during the fiscal year beginning on the 1st day of October 2008, and ending on the 30th day of September 2009.

General Fund, Waterworks, Sanitation and Sewage Fund, Chubbuck Development Authority, Special Revenue Funds, and Park Dedication Fund.

Section 2: That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the General Fund for the payment of all General Fund Expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year:

Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 (FY2009)
City of Chubbuck

A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002, will be held for consideration of the proposed budget for the fiscal year from October 1, 2008, to September 30, 2009. The hearing will be held at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho at 7:30pm on August 26, 2008. All Interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted. Copies of the proposed City Budget in detail are available at Chubbuck City Hall during regular office hours (8:00am 10 5:00pm weekdays). City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or to the hearing please contact the City Clerk’s Ottice, 237-2400 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. Notice Of Public Hearing City Of Chubbuck

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Chubbuck City Council will conduct a public hearing at 7:30 p.m., August 26th, 2008 at City of Chubbuck Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho with respect to the following items:

  1. An application by the City of Chubbuck for a zoning change from Limited Residential (R-2) to General Commercial (C-2) on Highway Acres Subdivision, Lots 17, 18, and 19 which are city owned rental properties. The lots are more commonly know as 216, 234, and 242-248 Hiway Ave. Land Use & Development Commission recommended approval.
  2. Ordinance — A proposed amendment to the Major Home Occupation Ordinance that will allow a daycare provider operating as a home occupation to allow a temporary person on the premises. Land Use & Development Commission recommended the City Council approve the ordinance.

A COPY OF THE SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR ITEM #1 IS ON FILE AT THE CHUBBUCK CITY OFFICES FOR YOUR REVIEW.

WRITTEN TESTIMONY AND PETITIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING.

INTERESTED CITIZENS MAY APPEAR with regard to the foregoing item and at the time indicated will be given an opportunity to be heard in support of or in opposition to the proposal.
