The results of the election held in and for the City of Bancroft, Idaho on November 3, 2009 are as follows:

The newly elected officials will be sworn into office at the beginning of January 2010.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general election to be held in and for the City of Bancroft, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The election will be held to elect the following offices for the specified terms:
1 Mayor for a four-year term
2 Councilmembers for a four-year term
2 Councilmembers for a two-year term
On Election Day, the polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following designated polling location:
Bancroft Lions Club Building
165 South Main
Bancroft, Idaho 83217
Wheelchair accessible voting and curbside voting will be available at the polling location.
Voter registration will be available at the polls on Election Day.
Write-in candidates must file a Declaration of Intent no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 20 for any votes cast to be counted.
Absentee ballots are available at City Hall, requests for absentee ballots can be made in person, by mail, or by fax. Requests by mail or fax must be received before 5:00 p.m. on October 28.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the general election to be held in and for the City of Bancroft, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, november 3, 2009. The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices for the specified terms:
A Four-Year term for Mayor
Two Four-Year Council Members
Two Two-Year Council Members
Candidates for city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy specifying the office sought and affirming that the individual is a qualified city elector, meaning:
The Declaration of Candidacy must be accompanied by: (1) a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or (2) a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors that has been verified by the county clerk’s office.
The deadline for filing declarations of candidacy is Friday, September 4 at 5:00 pm. Declarations of candidacy are avaliable at City Hall in the ofice of the city clerk at Bancroft from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
