Notice of Municipal Election, City of Bloomington, Idaho
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the general election to be held in and for the City of Bloomington, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, on which day the polls will be open from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM. . The election will be held for the purpose of electing 2 Councilmembers for a term of 4 years.
Candidates for city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy with the City Clerk, accompanied by a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors. The deadline for applications for write-in Candidates is Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2009 at 5:00 PM.
